Lemon Jello Cake
Cake
3oz box lemon jello
1 cup boiling water
1 lemon or yellow cake mix
1 1/2 tsp lemon extract
4 eggs
3/4 cup veg oil
Glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
enough lemon juice to make glaze
Dissolve 1 3oz box lemon Jello in one cup boiling water...let cool
Mix 1 box lemon or yellow cake mix, 1 1/2 tsp Lemon extract 4egs, 3/4 cup veg oil
Add lemon Jello and mix
Bake at 350 degrees until done...32 min. Test w/ knife or toothpick to see if it comes out clean.
Make holes in warm cake - with toothpick or fork
Mix enough lemon juice to the 2 cups of powdered sugar to make a thick creamy glaze..pour over cake you
just poked holes in and spread around with back of a spoon. Allow to sit and cool a bit...serve warm
or room temp. Can be chilled as well.
