Thanksgiving School Day
Today is the Thanksgiving dinner at school. I plan to go on up at 11:00 am to eat lunch with my daughter then again at 12:00 to eat with my son. The older kids would probably be embarrassed for me to eat with them so I better get my chances in while I still can with my 3rd grader and my 5th grader. The meal plan for today sounds really good. Turkey, dressing, ham, sweet potato casserole, green beans, rolls and milk. Typical school menu and probably typical school food taste! lol I do enjoy going and I am sure the babies are going to have a good time going as well. My Mother even said her and my step dad may go. That will really make the kids feel good.
Makenna is going to watch a movie this morning. They just have to walk across the road. She was so excited about it! I didn’t even have to wake her up this morning. She jumped out of bed and was ready to go. I’m excited for her too. I remember field trips at school and how much I loved getting a day away from class work and getting to hang out with my best friends. I really hope she has a good day. We’ll lets go eat some School Turkey!! Gobble Gobble!
